My favorite Christian bands would have to be Switchfoot, Casting Crowns, Tenth Avenue North, Delirious, The David Crowder Band, Shane & Shane, Third Day, Jars of Clay, Leeland, Lifehouse, and The Bridge Band. There are so many great ones out there that I have yet to discover! They all have great lyrics that are so meaningful and powerful.

wow neither of the bands Christian death, or Deicide are christian far from it. i looked up both bands on zune and read their bio's and both bands are junk! i am having a hard time believing you really think these  bands are anything close to christian

third avenue north is great, fireflight for rock , purenrg and jump 5 for pop, newsboys , and hillsong united are good also.

i like alot of the heavier christian stuff like impending doom, mortal treason, neviah nevi, once nothing, a thousand times repent, underneath the gun, august burns red, a.w.a.s, with blood comes cleansing, and still remains.Big Smile [:D]

To be honest, most of the "Christian" bands that you guys are listing could be played on any secular radio staation and no one would know that they are "Christian".

The Christian genre has deteriorated into "Our band members are Christians, so that makes us a Christian band"
