Okay - can people experiencing this issue try this, and report back whether your friends appear?
-- Close the Zune software
-- Open Internet Explorer
-- Go to Tools --> Internet Options
-- Click "delete" under Browsing History
-- Delete all temporary internet files and cookies
-- Open the software, look for your friends
This will help us determine if it's a problem with local caching (in the software) or in our service. Like I said, we haven't been able to reproduce it here in our test team, but we're still trying.
