I agree there... Not to offend any one at Microsoft or anything, they did an awesome job on the new Zune HD but like for example... All Verizon FiOS people have problems with Zune HD and WiFi... I contacted the forum admin to forward the whole topic to the engineers.... Think I got a response??? Nope.  So they're just gonna wait until like 10000 people have this problem and than MAYBE announce this bug/software issue...


Sorry but I have Verizon Fios with a WPA2 wireless network and I have never experienced a problem. As for microsoft allowing people to upload xna games to the zune marketplace, I say why not? It only gains you more customers and a higher profit. After all, you can see a lot of people want to develop. Why put the Nvidia Tegra into the thing when you are gonna cripple it with such limitations.

Give them some time the device was just released.  I am pretty sure they will allow xna games to be uploaded.  Currently MS has three different lines where apps can be donwloaded.  Win Mobile, Zune and X-box, not to mention Pink and Courier, I think that MS is trying to align the app stores for all of these before they open the flood gates and have 5 segmented division instead of 5 product lines in one eco-system.

i dont understand this at all, xna has produced sooo many games on xbox, including many that can be classified as "apps" and are better suited for zune IMO, why hasnt m$ implemented this to the hd from day 1? the original zune came out a while back and  M$ still hasnt cemented the zune brand, zune video on xbox is good, but its a baby step that should of been done a while back. and they arent even marketing the hd at all. do they even HAVE a marketing team?

The Zune is not in a position where it can be allowed the luxury of time. It needed a full app store and submission system out of the gate, and it failed to deliver that, which killed all the hype about there being an app store to begin with. Now pretty much everyone outside the zune ecosystem has pretty much already forgotten about the ZHD. What are they going to do later, "hey guys, we have a fully-functional store now, too!" after they've already lost all their momentum?
