Well if you like that gears of war LE 120gb zune, HEAD DOWN TO AMAZON.CA NOW, original cost=279.99,  SALE PRICE=180.00 amazing! but im not too sure about how they are actually planning to be victorious against their oponent when they cant even provide the players to the people, if you know what i mean.

I'm a little concerned that the end is near as far as the Zune device goes in Canada.  It's on clearance everywhere including all accessories, that is if you can still find it in stock.  Still no sign of Marketplace coming to Canada and ZuneHD is to be released in the US only.  I'd love it if someone on the Zune team could at least reassure us that this is not the case and that there are still plans to continue selling Zune in Canada.

 

 

its one atribute i dont like about this company...*** starts dissapearing, and they dont say a word onn it, its like their a secret society, and watever they are doing has to remain secret from the public, i like zune, and i want the zune HD, but why do they hold it off in going to other countries etc. If they want success they need to at least allow people to buy it, even if the zune HD isnt released in Canada im going to the US in january for holidays, ill pick it up then, but its just...stupid that they want it to be a competitor, when half plus of the world cant get their hands onn one.

I have seen zunes in the walmarts here, they never have had the 120 on the site as far as i can tell, walmart.ca is not a very good site in my opinion, half the stuff they have isnt on there, as for futureshop, and bestbuy, i havent seen any in stores, or online, this really sucks i was going to get one soon, i better hurryand hope walmart still has some

oh actually i went to The Source and they have em. last time i was their i saw 120's and 8gb's

Isn't the source going out of business? So that's yet another place that's not going to have them soon lol. Is it just Canada seeing these shortages? I haven't been to a Best Buy or Futurshop in a while maybe I should check it out, but every time I've been to one since they've been released here I've seen them near the iPods so it's kind of wierd hearing they're disappearing when I'm so used to seeing them whenever I go into a tech store.

hmm, i think the source is or was owned by cuircuit city, but then some other company bought it??? im not too shure on it, but if they are going out of buisness, ***

I saw a fair selection of Zunes and accessories at the local Walmart last Saturday. Maybe they won't replace stock, but for now at least some stores still have supply. I can't believe I just gave a plug for Walmart! Eeewww!

Rumours have it is that the CRTC and Microsoft are having an issue and Microsoft has started pulling the 80s and 120s off the shelf because of it.  I mean, we were to have the Marketplace in Canada last year.  We were all waiting for this.  And after 2 years and it still hasn't come to fruitition.  This makes the most sense.

I hope they're taking it out because they want to replace them with the HD's, but it isn't coming to Canada (not as of yet anyway).  So who knows if we are even going to get it.

I went to Future Shop today to have my Zune 120 replaced under warranty... I was told they no longer carry them, had them check if any other store in the surrounding 200km had any and none.  The manager told me that Future Shop no longer carries them anywhere in Canada and will not be carrying them again in the knowable future. 

So I was given a choice ... Take an iPod or gift card...

So the question now is what will I use my card towards?

My cousin went through the exact same thing, only he was offered a gift card or the only floor model Zune 120 they had, He took the floor model and it works fine. Futureshop is done with the current Zunes but I think Best Buy still has some Zunes, particularily black/blue flash Zunes (i think they're 4gb only) and red 120GB Zunes.

If this helps anyone there are places in Newfoundland that still sell Zune120's.

It is not listed on the website but i know the Future Shop in St. John's still has at least 1. It may not be in all stores but sometimes it doesn't hurt to go up to the counter and ask.
