The Zune is a good machine, so is the iPod, so is a toaster, what's your point? Zune 120.

Thanks for all the support guys (and gals)
The other thing we can do, to be proactive. Is to fire up our keyboards and start writing emails to the major networks and tell them we want their TV shows on ZMP.

I think that's to low of a price.

-A retail price of a CD is like $15

-A dvd is like $20 (I'm talking retail new release)

-Plus Music Videos

I'm betting more like $35, I'll wager they will tier it based on what content you want.

Ex. Zune Pass Music = $14.99, Zune Pass Video = $19.99 (might steal some netflix users), Zune Pass Elite $34.99 (Music & Video).

From what I've heard in this post, this is how the Zune Pass Should be tiered.

Zune Pass, $14
Full Access to the entire music catalog, ( MS need's to go knocking on Disney's door to get them to open up their catalog to the Zune Pass.)

Zune Pass Plus, Silver, Extra? $17-18
Full Access to the entire music catalog, Music Videos, TV Shows and Movies
TV Shows and Movies would come with a ONE 15-30 sec ad in the beginning of the content.

Zune Pass Premium, Gold, Ultra? $24
Full Access to the entire music catalog, Music Videos, TV Shows and Movies
No ads

What do you think?

This my own general feeling also and feel it would be in both the consumers best intrest and a good way for Zune to reach a wider variety of people in a whole new way!

I agree, it would be great, but I'd imagine it's less of what MS would like to do and more what the studios will allow.  I think they'll come around, in due time, but the movie/tv studios where the major road block to netflix's video on demand. Most studios are afraid of piracy, but, these days all movies have made their way into the digital blackmarket....

Yes there are ways around Netflix's "Play Instantly" DRM. But most of them get you an instant banhammer.
In the end it's all about the money, and as ZMP continues to grow. The studios will have little choice.

I hope the the Zune Team is reading this thread and taking notes ;)

Speaking of streaming to the 360, Can you imagine how cool it would be if  that was possible?
The Xbox has 5000% more installed then apple TV. If MS created this Zune Pass\Video service, it create an killer service.
You wouldn't need to buy any type of media (unless you wanted to). It would also turn the Xbox 360 into one awesome Home Theater machine

Just more reasons for video on the Zune Pass
