re: j-pop, j-rock

I've gotta say, old school guys like Hironobu Kageyama are fantastic as well to the list of groups/artists like Miyavi, L'arc, Kung Fu Generation, Orange Range, Utada Hikaru, Nightmare, and don't forget UVERworld.

What's always funny is I've got a playlist which happened, by chance, to be theme music to a bunch of Shonen Jump animes.

Keep your eyes on me, now we're on the edge of hell.

re: j-pop, j-rock
Being an avid anime fan, I'm pretty much by default addicted to j-pop and j-rock. I'm not so much for any single artist as I am just listening to random music on animeyume radio. but a few in my library are Aiko Kayou, Kuribayashi Minami, Mamiko Noto, Motoi Sakuraba, Sanae Kobayashi, and a host of others. Most j-pop/rock I have is just thrown into a big album called Link's Mix on my Zune, i get a bunch of the songs from Galbadia Hotel.

The Zune is a good machine, so is the iPod, so is a toaster, what's your point? Zune 120.

Ok, I've been trying to find J-Pop/ K-Pop myself.  I love BoA.  I downloaded videos from YouTube.  Otherwise the CDs of her I have burned onto my Zune, the tracks are all rectangles since it doesn't recognized characters.  I'll keep looking for J-Pop/K-Pop and if I find something,I';; let you know.

I really like Asobi Seksu, but their music is better classified as shoegaze, not J-Pop or J-Rock. They're on my card so you guys ought to check them out.

My life is going in reverse.

re: j-pop, j-rock
I started listening to J-Pop/J-Rock about three years ago thanks to watching too much Anime, and since then have tried to find an online retailer to carry the stuff without paying premium prices. I'm glad you all posted your stuff here, I'll have to check 'em out.

I have an 80 gig Zune and an 80 gig iPod, and both are almost full...
