I just change my region n the update work with no problem everything is working fine, then I change my region back then check for updates n it still say I have the latest 4.3 so its good

There was no marketplace tab because marketplace isn't available in Canada, you could've just changed your region settings back after the update...

 

but i did change my region back us US after the update, and the marketplace tab was still missing. but whatever, at least its working good for me.

As soon you done with the update, change it back to US & clock as well then quit the Zune software & restart the Zune software, it should now sign into your account & marketplace tap will show up like you had it before the update.

i cant believe changing my region settings to UK actually worked...finally got 4.3 on my 16gb

I also received the update by changing my Regional Settings (in Control Panel) to English (Canada).
 
To do this, close the Zune software, open Control Panel, go to Regional Settings (in Vista and Win7, not sure about XP), change your language to English (Canada), click OK.

Open Zune software (don't be surprised if the Marketplace section disappears from your software), sign in and go to Settings, Device, Player Update. The new update should be detected. The version is 4.3 (191). Follow through the update process.

Once the update is finished, close the Zune software, go back to the control panel and change your language back to English (united states). Open up Zune software, and you should be all done.

Decided to do this to as there isn't anything illegal about it. It also now recognizes my 16 and is now updating. Will change back after done.

no...there's no limit on changing region of Windows setting....

what you are remembering is changing of region coding of Windows Media Player....

i don't know what the new settings for Windows 7 and Vista but in XP, you could play other regional DVDs with Windows Media Player via software change....but you can only do it for 5 times and it sets permanently in Windows XP on the fifth change unless you reinstall Windows XP or mess with registry somewhere....

no worries on changing Windows Region setting....

I Had an error code 80070057 when i tired to install the update in any way possible.(Changing location, formatting. etc.)

 

i then enterd this MS support page and got it fixed : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945278?sd=zune

 

I realized i only had to change my DISPLAY LANGUAGE

I feel so stupid right now.

Thank GOD I would have been horible if they released apps and games and i couldn't use them on my 16gb. So strange that I had to change the area on my computer.
