LYRICS?
I think it would be one of the coolest things ever, if the zune could have the lyrics scroll across the bottom of the sreen as the song was playing!  Maybe that's a little out there?! I don't know, but I'd enjoy it alot!  It's the type of feature, that if an mp3 player had this, I would spend an extra 100 bucks or more for it!

You shouldn't have to pay extra for such a basic feature. My iPhone has that feature, and it works nicely.

I think it would even be okay if you just had to copy and paste them into a lyrics box. If you did that you could just call them up at any time and scroll through to find your part in the song. It's a great idea.

ya that's a good idea too anything like that or similar would be better then nothing!

I'm actually disappointed that the Zune development team did not carry over this functionality from the Windows Media Player into Zune.

On WMP 11 and i guess also 10 You are able to load and synch lyrics. Try it out.

Left click on a song of your collection and select Advanced tag editor, select Lyrics tab, Add and paste your lyrics. Then click on  Synchronized lyrics and adjust timing. Apply and ok

Then on the Play menu, select Lyrics, Captions and Subtitles and On if avail

They start showing in the now playing screen

Some chinese-made MP3 players already have this functionality to read the Meta data information.

They probably ran out of time to release some of the singing games for the holidays.

A Karaoke game must be on the works. Lips already plays your Zune music collection, but no lyrics support. crap.

Oh, I didn't see this topic, I just made one like this a couple of hours ago. I would really like lyrics as well. The idea with the copy and paste into a lyrics box I think is a great idea.

I think I read somewhere that the new ipod touch has lyrics if you tap it or something....yeah - would be something cool if we could have somethin' like that, too...

I suggested it when the last update of Zune (3.0) came out. Lyric support.... A lot of my MP3 I have spent countless hours adding them to the files and with the Zune I can not read them. Perhaps in the next updated?

I think that putting on lyrics would be a lot more easier than all of the other suggestions people have been asking for.

thats pretty cool but honestly, not happinin

just save the lyrics as a picture and zoom in and scroll to look at it

Why not, this is seriously one of the easiest things they could do. Maybe not have the lyrics scroll at the bottom while the song is going but having the ability to access the lyrics from each song and scrolling to see it. Saving it as a picture is too time consuming.
