Artists who have gone downhill
For me, it's Beck. I love all of his older stuff (except sea change), and i LOOOOVE guero. So when I had guero for a while, I expected the next beck album to be pretty awesome. The information came out in october of '06, and it wasn't ground-breakingly awesome, but it was a solid album as a whole and I liked most the songs off of it.

Then Modern Guilt came out just a few months ago. I bought it off of Amazon and was expecting another great beck album!

Then, what I was left with was a *** dissapointment. What the hell was that? I mean sure, there's a couple of decent songs off the album, but the rest of it is pretty much garbage. Come on, Beck, get your crap together and make another album like Odelay or Guero, or even Mutations! Just anything but modern guilt!

So, Zune.net, which artists have played with you for years and years, then recently just stood you up and left you down?

Mine's larger.

Coldplay : (

I loved parachutes and a rush of bood to the head. X&Y made me hurl. Viva La Vida aint much better. Except for the title track!

Cartel...
Chroma was a very solid album for the pop-punk fans. I can't think of a single song off it I hated. But then came the second album Cartel...And it as just awful. Different style.. Different lyric content... Just all kinds of bad, sadly.

Another band that comes to mind is Linkin Park, WTF happened to them. All the sudden it became cool to swear in every song for no real reason but semi-shock value. I didn't like a single song off Minutes to Midnight, I played the album twice right when it came out.. And never got around to putting it on my (at the time) Zen and it won't ever going on my Zune.

korn, it just seems to me that they lost their angry passion and are becoming a little gimicky with their newer stuff.

Underoath, All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Blindside, Bullet For My Valentine, Evanesence, Family Force 5, Green Day, Panic at the Disco, and Story of the Year.  Prob more...but i don't feel like naming.

Underoath was the biggest disappointment EVER.

To me, it is defnitely Bon Jovi. The sound just changed so much and not even for the better.
