Smooth Jazz Fever I see; my current goal is to build on a collection that's not just mainstream.  There are a few you might not have heard off; then again you might have.  Check out 3rd Force, Fattburger, Marc Antoine, Peter White, to name a few.  It was great hearing from you, until next time........

re: Smooth Jazz Anyone?

Hi,

Kinda new  to the forum.  I love all the artist you mentioned.  Here are a few of my favs.  The Rippingtons, Brian Culbertson, Chieli Minucci, Dan Siegel and a vocalist named Janita...very nice.  There's also a group out of Japan called  T-Square they're great musicians.

These are just a few.

Check'em out when you have the opportunity.

Peace,

Ken B

re: Smooth Jazz Anyone?
Oh wow!! Someone else out there is into T-Square (can't believe it) - great!!!  How 'bout Casiopea and Chicken Shack, two very good smooth jazz/fusion groups from Japan.  And then there's Mezzoforte the fusion group from Iceland and I have to mention the group from England, Shakatak - smooth jazz and fusion from around the world, "great music when you can find it!!!!"

If it's not fun, then it's just work!!!

Re: re: Smooth Jazz Anyone?

Haha I'm very surprised and pleased to see people knowing T-Square here.

Other artists that I know: Trix, Derryl Gabel, Mitsuru Sutoh (the bassist of of T-Square), The Rippingtons (yea!),

Fourplay, Lee Ritenour (ex-guitarist of Fourplay), Bob James (pianist of Fourplay)

James Taylor Quartet (UK), Marcus Miller , Chick Corea (and his Elektronic Band), and Dimension (from Japan) ..

That's all I can think of now.. lol
