What is the coolest idea for a Zune Social fun activity presented so far?
Let's vote on which of these ideas we like the best...or none of them!


Desert Island Disc: Some kind of contest for identifying music we'd need to have with us on a deserted island   (19.7%)
Music trivia: Test your music knowledge, show how much more you know compared to your friends   (58.6%)
Song dedications, theme songs, etc   (12.7%)

Music trivia seems to be coming out on top, but doing this online gets tough. You're hard pressed to come up with trivia that can't be found somewhere out there on the Interweb. Honor system is cool and all that, but it just seems to easy. Also, I can't see how it will really make meaningful use of some of the best features of the Social, namely recent play information. I think a way to connect what you are actually doing with your Zune and the Social makes for the best impact. At the end of the day, the whole thing is about actually LISTENING to music, right?? Smile [:)]

So why not have a quiz where you hear a portion of a song and have to identify it? I love pub quizzes that have those sorts of things.

I think the trivia is a good idea, but zune need to make the site more social if they are gona call it the zune social. There need to be a way to search other people registered to the zune site.

I like this idea.  And have the quizzes split up into different genres so that no one gets left out.  I know for a fact that a radio station in Norfolk, VA used to (maybe still does, dunno cuz I don't live there anymore) make a contest out of it.  Every day they'd play about 3 seconds of a song's riff and then the first person to call in and get it right got a prize...

none of those are realy good ideas i think 

my idea is the zune being able to be used as a hard drive for the xbox  and a mp4 player this should've been done a long time a go being how microsoft owns both of them

Good Morning everyone,

   Personally I think the Island one would be a blast. I agree that the music trivia would be a bit hard being that we are on line doing this, and some of us are around the world.

 OH and where do I put in my thoughts about the games I have been hearing and reading about. If this is the place, I can not create them though I would love to see things like Bejeweled and Tetrus. I know old ideas, but that is what my thoughts are... smiles.... Get to know me, I am really not as boring as I sound. just early here in Japan.

Name that ZuneTune.  Like the game show 'Name that tune'.  Players bet on how many notes they can name a Zune song.  Winner gets bonus Microsoft points added to their account.
