AV kit problems??????
OK, I got the Zune AVkit, and it was working flawlessly yesterday, now I'm only getting the right channel though my stereo. I did check the connections in the back of my amp. The one thing I did notice that was different, is that yesterday when I plugged the Zune into the dock, it rebooted. Today it's not. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Ok, this is again weird. After I posted this thread, I went back to my set up, and again cecked the connections. All was well, with the connections, but still only one channel. So just for giggles, I plugged the white cable in, and now I've got both channels working.  I am, however getting a kind of muffeled staticy sound quality. Chapter 3 comming this weekend.

Please forgive my ignorance, as I have never used the AV dock.  But shouldn't the white cable have been plugged in from the start?  I'm assuming that there is a red cable, for the right audio channel, and a white cable, for the left audio channel.  Am I missing something here???

According to the directions, the white cable is for the video feed, and the red, and yellow are for audio. I've got the next two days off, so I'm going to do some more tinkering. More to follow.

Well that's just effin' goofy.  Leave it to Microsoft to mess things up.  I had heard that when using GENERIC cables (with the headphone jack, not a dock), the colors needed to be switched, because MS decided to do things differently than everyone else.  But I had just assumed that with a dock made SPECIFICALLY for the Zune, the colors would be 'normal' (red, right audio; white, left audio; yellow, composite video).  Weird stuff, indeed.

Ok, I'm an idiot!!! After finding, and rereading the directions that came with the AV kit. I now realize that the yellow cable is for the video feed, and read, and white are for the audio. One really should learn to read instructions before attempting the task at hand. My only excuse besides being not to bright, is the fact that I've been working 7 days straight. The overtime will be sweet though.
