Latest song obsession?

I'm totally and completely consumed by the song "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" by High Contrast. It's almost embarrassing how often I play it.

Well I have a few actually...

The first one would be Bamboleo by The Gypsy Kings. It has such a good beat and so filled with culture (if that makes sense).

The second would be Pepita by Bosquito (Romanian). Really good song as well

Finally it would be the new Celine Dion song "Eyes on Me". First time I bought it I listened to it over and over again.

Ditto on Daft Punk. Then again, I can't really help it because I almost seem to hear Kanye's "Stronger" everywhere I go. And I only like that song because of Daft Punk, not Kanye.

You know, I hear that a lot (since most of my friends are into electronic music, not hip hop). But honestly, I liked the song before Kanye re-did it, and I like his version too. A lot, actually. That's another one I'm embarrassed about. :-)

I know what you mean! I don't mean to knock Kanye's song though. I think it's fantastic as well. It's sampled very well. But it just goes to show how great Daft Punk's song really is. I'm glad they're getting this kind of exposure, even if it's through somebody else. Kanye's got to be commended on that as well. He made it more like a collaboration than merely just sampling the song and have people wondering what song was sampled. Oh, and I forgot to throw in Justice. I really haven't stopped listening to their Cross album since I got it.

My husband hates Kanye's song - he thinks it's just rapping over a great song, and makes it bad. I (obviously) disagree; I think it works together really well.

The only song I've heard from Justice is D.A.N.C.E., and it annoys me for some reason - sounds like kids singing or something. Is the rest of the album similar?

I think it's a kid's choir that sings on "D.A.N.C.E.," but no other song on the album sounds like that though. I honestly don't like the other songs with vocals on it. All the songs without vocals are good.

I have to say that my favorite electronica artist right now is The Prodigy.  I love the cd Music for the Jitled Generation and its one of my most frequently played CDs, if not the most.

Daft Punk is also really good.  I downloaded quite a bit of their stuff.

I would have to say that mine is definetly Cloud by Fischerspooner. I know its old, but that synth line is just great.
