The software blows!

As everyone else has noted... the ZUNE software is the crappiest thing to ever come out of Microsoft..., well except maybe Windows Me, nah... this one takes the cake.  Why produce such a great player and cobble it to some really bad software?  The last update screwed up my album names, and it is impossible to change/fix them with out using the "library rebuild tool".    Why should I have to do this?  I don't want to have to re-subscribe to all of my podcasts.  Apple can update iTunes without this kind of thing happening.  It won't even import correctly labeled stuff ripped in WMP with the correct album info.I don't even understand why ZUNE is not compatible with Windows media player which is owned by... HELLO... Microsoft!  Why not just create a plug-in for WMP that only works with ZUNE?   Thank goodness the player is good enough to make up for the software shortfalls.

Microsoft-please, please, please fix the ZUNE software to work correctly or just ditch it and let us use WMP.

Very disgruntled,

Nick

re: The software blows!
I would love to, but there seems to be no email address for ZUNE support or customer service.  My guess-they couldn't keep up with the flood of complaints.  This is going to have to be sent directly to the big dog Microsoft and hope it finds it's way to the ZUNE team.

re: The software blows!

I love WMP to pieces, and have it running constantly in the background.  Since I'm still holding out for a blue Zune (*fingers crossed*), I don't have a Zune yet, but I do buy songs through the Marketplace.  Instead, I currently use my PDA as my WMV/MP3 player (thanks to a cute little program called pocketTunes), and can sync it directly with WMP...

*coughs* Uh, Zune?  Sync-compatibility with WMP?  Integrate the Zune Marketplace as one of the Online Store options in WMP?

re: The software blows!
So many good features were taken out as well, such as being able to drag and drop MP3's any where in the program, any play list or now playing and directly to the library, can't even add songs that for some reason wern't added to my collection to the burn list with out adding it and FROM THE LIBRARY drag it to the CD icon.....extreamely annoying and time consuming.
