re: Music Faint

I bought an 80gig black zune a few weeks ago and now im having a problem. I plug the headphones in all the way but the music is not balanced correctly. The instruments are too loud and the actuall singing is too faint. I tried removing the headphones and re-inserting them but it didnt help. i notice there is a part of the cloth like material ripped and a bit of the coated part pushed out. There are no exposed wires though. Does anyone know what might be causing this? If so your help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem with my headphones. I had them for a while and did not mistreat them at all. One day, I noticed the music playing a little weird and I noticed the exposed wires. I did not how it happened, but I got some new headphones and haven't had any problems since.
