song plays won't update
As you can see with me, I have 2 plays supposedly. The albums update, but not the play count. I am signed in when I play music, I am not streaming it, and I know I am waiting enough time. What's wrong?

I'm getting the same problem. On my profile page, the albums are updated. My "most played artists" show over 60 total plays, but next to my name on my Zune card, it says 4 plays.

I wonder if this bug is also what i smaking me not show up as the top listener for artists that I should be listed under.

I've read that already. It did not help me when I was having the problem it was addressing and it certainly won't help me now that I'm having a different problem.

@BriGuy: thanks for the general FAQ, but the specific problem the previous posters and I are having is not handled there. My tag shows lots of albums and songs played, but the total play count isn't updating. Is that covered in the FAQ, and I'm just missing the point?

For example (as of right now) my play count is 4, but my album and song lists are much longer than 4.

I'm getting the exact same problem.  Showing 6 plays, but I should have somewhere near 100.  Would like to understand how this works.

Well the only thing I can say is just give it time.

I mean on day one none of my songs were updating and I wasn't appearing on any top players lists and I didn't have a playcount.

Day two my songs were updating to what I was listening too except two of them were stuck and unchanging, I was added to the top player lists and my playcount was displayed but not updated.

Today my songs played are updating perfectly but my playcount is still the same and none of the top play lists have updated with my new total plays.

So I guess I'm just saying its probably not you or anything you can do. The Zune team is most likely working on it.

Yea, the play count just isnt working. Mine says 300 or something, but trust me, days of ten hours and it should be way higher.

Two guys walk into a bar, the first one looks at the second one and says... "You didn't see it either?"

I think this is a common issue right now. Hopefully there is a fix soon. I've been stuck at 56 plays for the last two days.

I have the same problem... (bump)

It doesn't show half the songs I play... but my play count has been at 14 for two-days... Crazy.
