New software dumped songs

I installed the latest update today. Then I proceeded to add 25 songs from CDs to my playlist. Afterward, the software showed 25 songs added but 34 songs removed. I have the 30gb model Zune with only about 6.5 mb used. What gives? Is this a bug in the new software?? If so, is there any way to remove the update and go back the way it was working properly?

Also, why is there no way to contact Zune with this kind of problem?

Did you happen to remove those songs from your computer? The Zune software tries to keep what's on your Zune in sync with what's on your PC; if the music was missing from your PC, the Zune software would also remove it from your Zune.
