I ordered my 80 GB red customized Zune on Jan. 15th 2008, and was promised an email when the unit shipped.
Today, just today, i got an email saying that the unit is running late due to high demand and it will take an additional 5-7 busn days for it to arrive.
My Zune was to be delivered no latter then this Friday.
How disappointing i am. Specially since i paid so much money for it.
Why was i not told of the 'high demand' for it when i first orderd, or with my purchase confirmation email. Me thinks that that should have been calculated on the site. Instead of getting customers hopes high that there unit will arrive in one week, instead it should be updated to say that it will take 3 weeks to a month for it to arrive.
I am pissed.
Anyone experiencing anything similar?
PS, i still don't have a tracking #, because i am told it's not even left china yet.
