Syncing gone wonky?

I assumed that this was standard, but this was never mentioned in any troubleshoots I could find, so maybe somebody can help me.

I've found that when I've synced an album from my collection to my Zune, it works fine. However, as soon as I delete the album from my collection, it automatically syncs my Zune and deletes the album from it. And stranger still, when it removes the album from my Zune, it always deletes all but two songs.

I've ended up with tons of albums containing only two songs. Is there any way to prevent this without having to resort to keeping all 8GB or so of music on my computer at all times?

No, unfortunately, the software is set up to be a mirror image of your device, or vice versa. One work around would be to get all your music on your device that you want, and then run the zune library reset tool or delete hidden files zunestore and currentdatabase.
