Yes, you can wirelessly sync when connected to your Xbox360, as long as you are not playing music from it on your 360 at the same time. If you are just using it to charge, you can initiate a wireless sync from the device. Now, the only caveat is that it might not automatically start wireless sync (as it would on a powered dock) because the charge that the 360 provides is not enough for the Zune to initiate a wireless sync itself, hence, you need to initiate it manually.
