For now those are the things about the Zune software that strike me as
odd. I could talk about the video section not having folders, but it
works, to me it's just underdeveloped. It does what its supposed to and
is consistent. I hope this is not considered a rant becasue I love the
software, its easy, beautiful and handles the process of getting
everything onto the Zune quite nicely. A lot of thought went into the
program and it shows, but the inconsistencies leave me scratching my
head sometimes and having to put in more work with the device and
software than I would expect to in the simple process of syncing my
music files, videos and podcasts. If anything else comes to mind, I'll
add to this.
That was at the end of my first Transgressions thread post, and I don't believe I edited that phrase at all, even after I went through and de-rantified it. How is that hypocritical? People are looking for answers and, I've seen you help them, which is great. But the tone (there is such a thing on the internet) in which you write your answers isn't constructive at all. I look at your signature and think "wow." Something else I've seen is that you do half the work in helping out in some cases.
Here, you identified my problem as a metadata bug but failed to elaborate. And agan
earlier today, you did the same thing again. What part two is to try to point the user in the right drection. Me knowing that I have a metadata bug wasn't too specific. LukeTrocity FTW knowing that there are other users who "know the specific version" of tags used by the software isn't either. Those two posts alone lead me to believe you're read my posts or have seen WillysJeepMan's thread (you may have quoted him on ocasion, I don't know), but not linking them after alluding to them in ongoing discussions (or any information source) is not constructive.
Oh, and
AMD is taking steps to fix an
eratum bug and has given a timetable for updated chips. It has also responded to
possible rumors about the bug as well.
