re: Error C00D12F6

My device and PC aboth show up OK But I cannot get any new content from Marketplace, and it has none of the things that indicate I even have a ZunePass.

My pass is paid up thru March, but if they keep this up, I'll end up plopping down $$ for the iTouch instead of a big Zune.

At least my podcasts (the ones I have via Zune, and the others I added manually) seem to be syncing OK.

Still, getting pretty griped at them for this going down all evening and night -- I wanted to add some secular Christmas stuff (like Nat King Cole Christmas Song, Sinatra, etc) to play in the office tomorrow.

Hey MS - how about extending all subs by a day for this SNAFU on YOUR part?

We paid -- you did NOT deliver.

Just out of curiosity -- Does it show your pc/zune listed under Settings | account | Computers and Devices? Mine is blank under both. This is the first problem I've had with the marketplace in the 3 months that I've had it. I can preview entire tracks tho, just can't download with the same error code as topic.

I haven't ever had a problem before either, and I've had mine for over a year.  This is the first problem I've ever had with either the software or hardware, so I don't know why that one other guy is giving up on Microsoft... I used to have an iPod and I had to reset that b*stard and reformat it more times then I can remember.  Hell, it cleared itself a few times.

I hope they fix this soon, I was looking forward to those Christmas songs :)

Can someone make this a sticky and/or update zune.net

I am really annoyed because I spent the last 3 hours trying to fix my computer only to find out it wasn't my computer.

Wow, judging by how this thread has grown exponentially in the last few hours, MS seems to have a large problem on their hands.

Let me just say that this doesn't seem to be affecting all users - I'm currently able to download and play Zune Pass content no problem over here.  I'm located in New York, if location does anything at all to help diagnose the issue.

Really hope it gets resolved for you guys in a timely manner.

alright....so this isn't just happening to me.  I just bought a Zune this weekend and a new computer to go along with it.  I'm getting pretty fed up with all the problems.  Atleast I know its not all me now.  Since I am new to this I didnt know what to expect.  Hope for a solution really soon.  Oh and Customer support SUCKS!!!

Yeah Wow.

Got the 16 gb only to find that it doesn't work.  This is sad.  Coming from Apple products, I am use to the "never fail" mentality.  Microsoft needs to post a BIG POST on their FRONT WEBSITE stating what is wrong.

I want an extra 30 days free. I spent the last 5 hours trying to FIX something that wasn't my problem. SAD SAD SAD microsoft.  I'll be calling tomorrow demanding some sort of reimbursment.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I too am having the problem.  I am assuming that the servers are down.  This is really no big deal to me, but MS not owing up to it does make me a little mad.  Lets hope it it up soon.
