re: Like/Dislikes: Zune team seeking feedback!
I love the layout of the Zune Software but I found it really cludgy when it came to using my credits to buy songs. I had already douloaded the songs and when I went to buy them it did not update the songs so they maintained the DRM. After poking around a bit I deleted the songs and reloaded them from the purchase history. This worked but I bet there are some folks that think songs bought with credits can only be used by the zune due to this clunkyness. Also, my remaining credits should be easily visible and it indicate if I already own a song

If "Channels" in the marketplace were more refined...meaning each channel had many more songs and the channel did not include mainly one artist/album that is popular at the time...I would be ready to sport the monthly fee for a zune pass.  Zune marketplace should review Rhapsody channels a little closer and model theirs identically.  I love channels as a way to discover music, but Zune's channels have a limited number of songs and many times are just the same artist's songs filling up the channel.  Other than that, Zune has done some great work.  Would also like to see a 10 foot remote control interface built in the Zune software.  Thanks for listening.

Previously I haven't written on here with praise towards the Electronica/Dance section of Zune Marketplace. I am a monthly subscriber to the Zune Pass. I have become dissatisfied with the quality of music on the Electronica/Dance section. I have found numerous gold old school house and dance tracks on there. Of which I have loaded up on my MP3 player. But I have found new Electronica/Dance content to be lacking. I will go out to a club over the weekend. Come home and try to locate the music on Zune Marketplace but with no luck. Suggestion what about partnering with the Billboard Dance Chart? I know you have partnered with Billboard on other charts. Please keep the Electronica/Dance section more current. It downgrading my Zune experience from an "A-" to a "C." Thanks.

As nice as it would be to keep current Electronic/Dance more then any other genre is handicapped by the media companies that own the product. The Zune Marketplace just enables you access to content that is licensed out for use by their respective media companies. Over the months the E & D section has seen a decline in availablity because of the Recording Labels who own the music. The record companies are literally able to add and subtract as they see fit without little to no say by MS. That is the price you pay for a subscription based service though.

Being from Canada it would be nice if when I buy a product from a company I would receive the same service as if I bought the same very product in another country. Selling Zunes in Canada but not allowing access to the Zune Marketplace seems to make little sense.

For the most part, I find the layout of the Marketplace convenient, easy to understand, and visually appealing. (Just as a side note, I like the look and feel of everything related to the zune) It's nice to be able to browse by genre when you don't know what you want, or simply search for what you're looking for when you know what you're looking for.The zune pass itself is a great and savvy idea for people who don't want to spend a rediculous amount of money on music downloads (like me!). Unfortunately, there are some things I don't like though. I'm dissapointed with the lack of available selection. Also, I don't understand why songs that are unavailable are even listed on the Marketplace. Cruel and devious ends perhaps...? (I'm joking about that last part of course) Also, I wish that I could download at least some videos with the zune pass. If those things were improved, I'd like the Marketplace that much more.

I would love it if there was a way to read the liner notes from cds. I miss being able to see who played on what, who was thanked, who guest artist were, etc. That is the only thing I miss from buying CDs.

I would enjoy if there were some music games that used the music that you have on your Zune: music trivia, name that tune, what ever.

I wish you had an easy to find place to request music that is listed as unavailable. Will it ever be available?

Over all I love the Zune and wouldn't trade.

another thing i dont like is: the zune marketplace team doesn't really kno what metal and rock are. i decided to look at the "top channel" things and i looked in metal, all i saw was 18 greenday songs, 2 nickelback songs , 1 journey song and a papa roach song.one last thing: they need a progressive rock/metal channel.

re: Like/Dislikes: Zune team seeking feedback!
the picks and channels in the marketplace are what i really hate. they don't reccomend any music that i would EVER listen to. everyday i rate the songs in there broken hearts and they still give me songs by the same artists. most people would look at my collection and could gather that my musical tastes dont remotely match the channels and picks. it says " based on what you've been playing and what others that have played those songs have played" thats BS. the like-minded listeners works pretty well. in the picks and channels, they just choose the most played-popular-radio friendly-generic rock stuff (ie: nickelback, linkin park, buckcherry, korn, avenged sevenfold, disturbed). they should do something similar to pandora

re: Like/Dislikes: Zune team seeking feedback!
The single biggest gripe I have is the serious lack of new music. Every track I want which I recently hear on progressive radio stations or even seeing their music videos on YouTube ARE available on iTunes but it takes weeks for them to appear in Marketplace if at all. The majority of us hear music and want it right away if it is available. If it is available on iTunes then it SHOULD be in Marketplace. I switched from iPod and iTunes to Zune 120gb and Marketplace and it frustrates the hell out of me not being able to get the music I want, when I want it particularly when your competition has it!

I'm sure this has been posted, but I just want to add, I would really like to be able to rate and leave feedback on podcasts.

I've noticed that the "New Releases For You" channel keeps recomending me songs (and downloading them again) that I already have and listen to on a somewhat regular basis.  I realize that this is the only way the channels can actually find music I like, but still, isn't that sort of cheating?
