That's awesome!

So humor me for one second... Would it be possible to burn those music tracks to CDs then for use in the car so I don't have to buy the car pack? I think in the TOS it says you aren't allowed to do this, but just humor me and answer if it's technically possible. :) Or is there some crazy DRM built into the Zune Pass downloaded songs that knows when its going to be burnt onto a CD and doesn't allow it to happen?

You can't burn Zune Pass files, as burning strips DRM from a file.

I feel your pain. My wife loves rap and country. (weird mix I know) Where as I like to have indie, and hardcore metal music. haha

Why would you ask such a question? (Sarasim) That would lead to pirating. lolz.
Yes you can burn them to CDs from the info I have pulled out of here so far if you buy the CD with MS points. That way it gives unlimited access rights to the songs. At least I believe, and I would hope.

Don't try to be something your not... I'd rather be king of nothing then a servant in a sick society!

So as long as I can get her to download it, but not listen to it, I'm okay. :)

Indeed! Big Smile [:D]

Edit: Just to be clear. Zune pass licenses up to 3 machines, you do not need to be logged into the zune pass account to access this music. What this means is you can download as much music as you'd like through the zune pass and listen to it through another account, or program.

When you say another program I could listen to it with like WinAmp if I wanted to? Interesting.

Multiple people can access one zune pass, however, only one person can be signed into the account used to download at a time.

I think the issue here is that since the account is now associated with a zune card -- that is the account is now much more associate with a person rather than a machine -- people will want to be logged into their own account when using the software. I just want my wife to be able to download what she wants, without logging into my account, and vice versa.

That would require two seperate zune passes. One route you could take is having an account for downloading, and then seperate accounts for yourself and your wife.

re: Two People, One Zune Pass

I think the best scenario would be in the account settings screen, where you see what computers and devices you have, to allow you to associate a device or computer to a Zune Card.

I sure hope some kind of solution is available soon or my recently played music will be filled with broadway musicals and country music :P

I share my zune pass with my wife and daughter, that is why the Veggitales songs are in my profile :S

re: Two People, One Zune Pass

I agree it would totally be awesome to be able to have one "master" Zune Pass account, and then have two sub-accounts that can access it.

Then those in your family can use it, and each can have their own Zune Card's.
