Music Collection Issues

Ok I did this, nothing was changed...

Under boys like girls artist I have the foo fighters and Atreyu... even though it says that the artists are correct. I have dont everything that is posted to change this. I even did the reinstall one, and nothing worked please help us out Microsoft!

My 30g is also scrambled beyold belief and just now I've experienced a new problem - when I go to play the new Foo Fighters that I just added two weeks ago (bought the CD and ripped it to the zune) it says " this item is missing or can't be played" It played an hour ago it either gives me that response or displays the song titles in quick succession but does not play anything. HELP!

I just want to know if they are ever going to fix this so that you can edit the album info again, that was sweet.The updated software sucks

It's not just the cover art. When you click on one of the screwy albums, it's the cover art band, the title band AND sometimes other bands mixed in. I can't delete anything until it gets fixed either, for fear of deleting songs/bands I do want.

It took 5+ hours initially to resync it all (roughly 28gigs worth) to my Zune, and this was the result.  It also keeps removing songs with no way to add them back in, and no explanation as to why it's removing them. That, in and of itself, is highly annoying.

I like your mishaps though, even if they are annoying, it is quite comical.

Alright so now that the *** is updated, how in the hell do you make a playlist????  When I enter a title for it, it says it's invalid??  I don't get it!

also if at one point you have used itunes; itunes is retared because when you rip a cd it does not change the properties it reconizes what folder and artists it in and goes by that and zune goes by the properties

i have a similar problem i have some techno albums trance arena vol 2 for example and it has 41 track on it and the zune software it shows 41 Different  trance arena vol 2 for each of the Different artists i tried selecting all the songs and changing the properties and making sure that all have the same album name but no luck i hope there is a fix for this some time this year

I'm having an issue where single songs on my Zune do not show up in the artists section. For example, I added the song "Sabatoge" by Beastie Boys; this is the only song by this artist. On my Zune player, no option for Beastie Boys shows up under artists. However, when I go to the song list and album list (it's an unknown album) the song is there. Why won't the Zune put this song in the artist section? I have several songs like this and it's certainly an annoying problem. All the tags are correct in the Zune collection and elsewhere.

I have a similar problem, except that all that is in my zune folder is the "Firmware update" folder with the "firmware update" file, and the scorpio and draco baseline cabinet files. There is nothing elses in there. Is there something else I can do about it?

this sounds all well and good but I do not have a CurrentDatabase_365.wmdb file. I looked all over the place but I only have the ZuneStore.sdf file, and just renaming that did nothing.

 I completely cleared my libraries on both the zune software and WMP then reloaded them both after i did the whole file name change thing.  I then went into WMP and fixed them there where you can manipulate the id tags.  Whatever changes i made there were reflected in the zune software.  I worked on it all weekend and finally tried that and it worked.
