I thought the software was ok at first ... when I asumed that it had the same artist , song , band editing capabilities as before in ver. 1, but much to my dismay it is not so .I now have artists that do not even match thier respected songs , or photographs , and the software will NOT let me edit it myself , maybe I am missing something here , if there is a way to edit these things please tell me so I can make right what has gone wrong.

AUTO PLAYLISTS   (it usesd to do this)

GENRE BROWSING (it used to do this)

This is EXACTLY how I sorted and synced my videos, too.  Dragging the list over to the Sync panel (I loved that panel), organizing the videos into playlists.  None of that can be done at all.  Music playlists can't even be sorted anymore.

I also second the motion that they just bring back what they removed. 
Tweak the look, if you really want to do that.  Add podcasts.  Add some more features, but don't take away simple things like playlist sorting or video playlists.  That is what turned this upgrade into a actual downgrade.

Agreed 100%

Especially (in the desktop software):
  • Find / Update Album Info
  • Drag & Merge albums
  • Paste Album Art
  • Mini mode
New things that would be nice as well:
  • A fully adjustable 8 to 12 band equalizer (not just presets)
  • Display total time on playlists (to make it easier to manage music CD burns)
  • Ability to organize by folder (for new ripped music that hasn't yet been properly tagged)
Also, there appears to be a filter on song titles per album.  I have a Staind album that has a studio and live version of Outside and the software will not show the studio version.  Weird.

- Genre Browsing

- Ability to edit specific tracks without having to do it in the file metatags

- Ability to set the device display back or at least change the font size so it doesn't look stupid large

- Ability to sync with windows media player

- Would be very cool to add a TV option in adition to Radio to pick up local Television.

  1. id3 tag management! (really, is it that much to ask).
  2. text rss feed sync
  3. notepad

Zune Device:
  1. Gapless Playback
  2. Shuffle by Album
  3. text or xml or html reader
  4. Delete
