I had this error on the 15th like everyone else.  I don't get it now except on a few songs that show to be "downloadable."  However, when this happened, I lost the rights to music I had paid for that were not MP3 files.  Most of my errors have cleared up, but this serious problem remains.  I also have downloaded playlists where the rights are unknown or invalid.  When I try to download again, it shows them as in my collection (which they are in another track of the same song), so I can't download them.  This fact, coupled with people getting incorrect music, makes me think parts of their database got messed up on the 15th and still has not been corrected.  I suspect they have tons of people off for the holidays, which is unfortunate when they sells are higher during this period.

all you ppl that have been having this problem over the weekend are lucky becasue i have been having this problem for nearly 3 months.  it says i cant download the songs because there is a problem with my rights or something yet it still takes away from my points and of course microsoft doesn't give refunds.  i loved the zune when it worked but *** just pisses me off because i can download some songs but not others and the ones that i had before the problem don't work.  3 months and this is still going on

Oh man, thank the Platypus this is fixed!  Big Smile [:D]  And thanks to everybody who got on the horn to let Microsoft know about this problem!  That was ultra frustrating!  I was dumbfounded until JordanRinke let me know this was an issue with it's own thread!

yah, turned off my comp last night after it wasn't working. turned my computer on this morning and it worked! relieved that it is working again, but disappointed that this problem even happened in the first place. good job tho, lasted less than a day for me tho.

Back up for me in Minneapolis. Just signing in and out didn't work for me. I had to restart the computer.

For those still having problems a simple software restart may do the trick...  I was still getting the error after it was reported fixed, but after I did a restart on the Zune software it started working just fine.
