Post Your Sync Issues Here

Ok, so ive turned sync off because i prefer to just manually add the stuff i want. But for some reason, my software automatically starts syncing when i try to add a song. it goes through, updating all 7,000 songs and takes forever and when its finished the song isnt on the zune. When the syncing is finished i try again to add a song but it just does the same thing. How can i get it to stop doing this?

My Zune 30 has been working fine for years.  I deceided to try the free trial zune pass.  Well the content I downloaded expired in 1 day.  I wound up erasing my entire zune.

Last night I resynced it I dragged about 23 gig of music to it, it took forever to sync up. It showed 5000+ songs  added on the status.  When I looked at it this morning it says 23 G of space used, but there are no songs on it, only 2 albums :?   Is there a way to index the device and get the items to show up?  They are on the zune.

I tried resetting the device and the computer, and syncing.  No luck.  I am so frustrated

I need software!!!!!  I need some software to hook up my Zune to my MAC computer.  I do not see why you do not have that when MAC made the ipod able to connect to microsoft computers. I'm very tempted just to trade my zune in, which i do love it but to be able to hook up and transfer all my music and videos I will just have to get an IPOD.

It sounds like your device needs to have it's firmware restored. To fix your device, we need to fix your software. To help you out with the software I'm going to need the exact error code. Also, what driver does it say is messed up? Knowing the driver will help me know where to look in figuring out what is tripping up the software.

I am having trouble with my firmaware, my zune says i have to reinstall it and everytime i do i get an error code C00D1249 and i cant fix it. On top of that the zune software which is installed on my laptop is giving me some strange error code which doesint appear on microsoft likk,e 000x224893 and says something about a messed up driver...i cant get my zune to work and im getting po'd from microsoft...any suggestions or solutions are welcome!

i bought sum music n then also added some with my zune pass. i read that with the zune pass you are limited to the songs and whatnot but i continue to get an error message for songs i purchased. nothing in my damn zune will play! i'll sync with my PC and the songs will work fine and then if i turn my zune off for a lil while. i'll get that message "...usage rights...sync with PC." i want to just buy all my music n forget the zune pass, but i'm worried there is something else wrong. i don wanna drop $50 n not be able to play my music whenever i want! help!

It's been a while but I'm trying to keep the list on the first page is still current with various sync related issues.

Can't get the Marketplace to work.....................when I type in an artists name it thinks for a minute and tells me it's down and to check back later.

Can't access any of my Subscription history either.

Also, verrrry slow sync.  I've let sync run overnight 2 nights in a row.  Only about 1/2 of the music has made it to the Zune, so far.... :(

thats wiggity wack. This must have started happening within the past week if it's related to the 2.3 update. Again, if you could post a few screenshots of before and after pics of the album folder, a pic of the 'My Zune' folder with the missing track and a pic of the software removing the track it would be helpful. In the first post (link) of this thread there's a link to a workaround (workaround).

So i will hopefully get around to posting pics either this week or the next.  But yea same problem has been going on since new update, dunno what is going on.  Hopefully we can find some answers.
