My head is spinning...

from compiling all the suggestions in all 36 pages of this thread.

In the next four posts (assuming no one posts between mine), I will list out what I found. Then I'm going to lock the thread (although I'm willing to edit my posts if someone feels I've missed something) because it's very difficult for anyone - users or Zune employees - to get through 36 pages of stuff to see what's relevant to them. Hopefully my posts will accurately summarize what's here, and I'm confident you'll tell me if they don't.

And then - what's next for us? Obviously I will be sharing this list broadly with the Zune team. And of course you will want to know what will become of your suggestions. It's easy, but kind of unfair, to say some of them will become features, and some won't. For competitive reasons, we won't be able to share our exact plans with you. However, we do want to engage with you more while we're developing the next versions of our products and do our best to make sure what we build delights you and meets your needs.

So here goes...I'm posting the lists now!

I think that a bookmark function would be great.  Sometimes I browse music and want to save it so I can later go back and buy it when I have enoguh money.

The software is very simple and straight forward. The only set back I notice is the option of import and export files.

It would be really nice if we could just use media player 11, since it works better to manage music.  An update for zune users that adds a tab for the zune market place and also a tab for syncing the zune.  This would simplify a whole lot.  Mainly being able to use one media player for everything.  It bothers me to have two players fighting to be the primary player.  Without the Zune specific update, other WMP 11 users would have the same player as it is now, without the extra tabs.  everyone is happy!

I want to be able to edit the names and info of my tracks directly on my Zune, not do it thru the crap Zune program. It gets things too mixed up.

mmmh, well.  Apart from being able to SEE the files in the Zune like any other USB device, and add or erase them...read my signature

Please WAV file compatibility! I want to read PDFs directly. DOC and PPS too. WiFi headphones? remote ctl? videogames?
