re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)
Ok, so i'm almost certain the problem is the software or something related to it.  I found my old 30gb and tried to sync it up, the software crashed at the very end of the updating process. And the program still crashes whenever i attempt to finalize the changes to the "sync relationship". This is the third time i've reinstalled the software is there anything i can do to fix this or do i just have to wait?

re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)
Ok so i've been looking around and can't find anything like my problem. My software see's my zune(80gb) but the zune icon doesn't show up in the bottom right corner of the window,  I've tried all the methods mentioned with no luck.  I should also mention that whenever I try to change the sync relationship whenever I try to finalize my changes the software crashes.  I've reset both the player and reinstalled the software plenty of times and tried every usb port i have open to no result, please help?

re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)
So after weeks of problems with my Zune player I finally decided to just clear the whole thing off and reformat the damn thing. Well, naturally with my Zune this didn't go as planned. When I tried to hook it back up and update firmware etc, I received the following error. "An unknown error occurred. Error Code C00D11CD (800705B4). YOUR PLAYER HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED WITH THE LATEST HARDWARE." So basically now I have a blank Zune that refuses to reformat and update. I am tempted to delete all the software and everything I can imagine off the computer and just start over. Anything beyond this and it's IPod time. I've battled this thing for months. Does anyone have any clue how to correct this error? Thanks

Mike

re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)
I'm having some trouble syncing music to my Zune 30GB. I dropped it on the ground about 2 1/2 weeks ago and since then it has been strange. When I go to a song to play it will freeze for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and sometimes the song will play and sometimes it will not, also my device space says that i've used 27GB of space and i have not even used half of that, I've used maybe  5 or 10 GB, but I cannot sync any music to my zune player because of this. Please HELP!!!

Thank you
Kim

re: Device Commands - How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device

My Zune 80 will not sync at all.  I spent 1 1/2 hours (!!!) on phone with tech. support from Zune...got nowhere!  I have written a complaint on "Consumeraffairs.com" about this.   Meanwhile, I purchased an IPod Nano.  Much easier to navigate!

re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)

I have a V1 device and it  seems that eveytime they update the software it takes forever to get it going again.   At this point I can't get anything to sync, have relaoded the software on my computer and tried to Initialize the disk in the Zune but not sure if I am not holding the buttons long enough or what.  How long do I have to hold the Back+Left+OK buttons to get this process completed?

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

re: How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device (Now Includes Zune HD)

We have had nothing but problems with our zune 120s since 4.0. My sisters zune will not sync and mine does but slowly. She has 3.2 and I have 3.1 because I declined 3.2.

Msoft needs to let us folks with previous zunes  be able to go back to the software that worked... let the new hd folks have the ram hog version.

All we want to do here is synch our zunes and use our zune passes again. That really is not asking for much.

Just fix it because too many folks are having problems synching their zunes.

re: Device Commands - How to Reboot, Reformat, and Restore your Zune device
Hi, I have a 80 GB zune, It shows "connect Zune to PC"  so I have and tried to update it to fix it but it gives me a C00124F error Every time I connect. I have tried what seems like every possible solution to restart and clear all my contents off of my Zune, even letting it die and charging it up to try again but the error wont go away and my zune just keeps showing "connect Zune to PC". I installed the new update from Zune to my PC and Zune before all this. What do I do?

I have nad nothing but problems with my Zune.  My computer will not recognize it, I have followed all the instructions, I give up.  I am going down and buying an IPod tonight.
