PLEASE ANSWER BY SENDING ME A MESSAGE:

1. DOES IT UPDATE PLAYS THAT YOU LISTEN TO ON THE SOFTWARE, ZUNE, OR BOTH?
2. I LISTENED TO A SONG, IT UPDATED, THEN I LISTENED TO A COUPLE MORE SONGS, IT DIDN'T UPDATE ANY OF THOSE. WHAT IS WRONG, AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO UPDATE?

Wish I could help out, but that sounds crazy. Have you tried reinstalling the software?

well my play count is 424 and i listened to music for 4 days straight and it is 424 still so what is going on idk and i hope they fix it soon but if you can figure it out that would be helpful

it is a funny problem.  my play count was at 44 on day one, and it finally updated today to....(*drumroll*)....45!  woo-hoo!  however, on my profile it shows i have over 400 plays from just one artist.  and i'm not a top listener on any artist, although i should be on almost all the artists in my "most played artists."
eh, i'm guessing they'll get it all worked out, but it is frustrating.

Mine is the same way.  It shows 57, but when I go into the software, it shows I have numerous songs that have over 20 plays each onthem.  and they show up as having played them on myzunecard, but the play count stays the same.

 

I have even logged out and then logged back and and new success.

ya, I'm stuck with crappy listings from my 80's downloads. Now, I'll not deny my crappy 80's music heritage, but I don't want it listed above my deftones, beasties, and other worthwhile tunes...except run-dmc and guns and roses...hehe

I wonder if MS/Zune will address this... Seems like it's affecting more than a handful of people.
