{This post offers no solution. Just my woes and experience with the lovely people at Zune}
I'm about to take one of the very large cinder blocks in my garage and throw it.
Besides the fact that I got a speaker dock Christmas, I'm kind of REALLY MAD.
I was okay with the New Years freeze. I could deal. What I couldn't deal with is when i recharged and turned it back on it went "ZUNE ZUNE ZUNE ZUNE NO BATTERY" So I called Zune. I attempted drained my battery. Somehow, in the midst of me pressing play/pause so many times i clearly was getting carpal tunnel, the thing started working! Then it died. So I went back to pressing pause. Then it starts working. I'm convinced its a trick on me so i let the battery die by playing SNL, checkers, and finally music on repeat. (I should have taken that time to say goodbye to it) I charged it for exactly four hours with my AC adapter. And when it was plugged in, the regular screen was on, the little battery was green, I was happy. Then I unplugged it, and ZUNE ZUNE ZUNE NO BATTERY comes back. Cradling my poor dysfuncitonal Zune in my hands I call Zune. 15 minutes later, I hang up and call again. 30 minutes of bad music later I'm told everyone is having this problem,Microsoft is trying to find the solution and to check the website for updates and maybe something about call back NEXT WEEK?!. And here I am. I'm too scared to take the thing apart. So I'll just wait, cry a little, and hope my new pet rock of a Zune turns into a real boy so I can use it again.
actully..ppl got warrenties are advised not to open thier zunes,,,but for brave ppl,,,it's not a problem,,,xD
