I've only had the Zune Pass for about 2 months.  This is the first hiccup with the Zune Pass but I have to admit it is bringing flashbacks to the XBox Live outtage I experienced last year.  I was without XBL (and the ability to play downloaded games in non-demo mode because my original 360 was replaced due to a RRoD) for over 3 weeks.  The experience was so frustrating that I traded in my 360 (which I had since launch day), games, and peripherals for a PS3.... and haven't regretted it for a moment.

I understand things happen, servers go casters-up from time to time.  And I'm sure that this hiccup will be corrected very soon.  But I'm not alone when I say I'll be watching to see how Microsoft handles this outtage.

After over an hour on the phone, I was put on hold again, for only 3-5 minutes.  10 minutes later i was disconnected, 10 minutes later someone else picked up and wanted a case number I wasn't given.  She finally told me that they are having problems on thier end, and that I should call back tomorrow since everyone is so busy tonight, fielding all our calls I'm assuming.  So I would say that it is a waste to stay on the phone for now.  Nothing will be done tonight.

I tried to drag and drop a song in the Marketplace to my Zune device icon in the lower left... no luck!

This is awesome.  Really it is.  It's like paying for a library card to a huge private library, then the door is jammed, and the librarian is looking through the window at you just shrugging.  And they're also rolling around in a huge pile of your money.  Also all of the books you had checked out turned to dust.  Also the company that runs the library isn't picking up the phone.
