Instead of designing a new feature for the website how about adding internet surfing via wi fi on the device or enabling the Zune to be an external portable hard drive instead of having to edit the registry to get it to work. The functionality is there why not enable it? How about support for Audio books, it’s a pain to have to rename the genre to Podcast. I think users would rather see this type of improvement than a new feature on the website. Let’s take a vote Zune Community would you rather see a new feature on the website or additional functionality added to the Zune?
You can feel free to vote on whether my team should do a game on The Social or additional functionality in the Zune, but I don't work on that part of Zune, so you won't get me and my development team to change paths. Different teams have different goals (and skills...I'm not a hardware person!), and my job is The Social.

I think that when your actively on the zune.net site there shoud be a way that other people know you are. like how myspace says when your online.

How about a 'War of the Bands' contest. Every month Zune picks two bands and people in the Social vote for their favourite, winning team gets to choose next genre to play, or something...
Games on Zune device could trigger more Social functionality, like keeping High Scores of Gaming preferences...
