Zune Order Fullfillment

This may be a little off topic, but I figure I would share with my fellow Zune waiters... 

If you are thinking about getting a wall charger (ie. AC adapter), or an AV cable, I would highly suggest getting the AV pack for the Zune version1.  For only ~$25 (originally $99), not only will you get a wall charger and AV cable (not component), you also get a dock that fits with a slight modification (instructions can be found elsewhere) with a remote. 

Additionally, the v1 A/V pack is I think better because the cord that attaches between wallplug and either dock or Zune is detachable, which means you have an extra USB sync cable (this is not the case for v2 docks).  All of this for a price cheaper than any of the v2 accessories alone!

This is all unncessary if that will be our compensation for waiting!!

Got my Zune!

Can people who have not received either an order confirmation email or a shipping confirmation email double check to see if the mail hasn't been intercepted by your junk mail filters. I've noticed that Gmail blocked some peope's ZO shipping confirmation emails, but it's not consistent.

If you have your own spam filter app, be sure to add the zune.net site to your safe senders list to be sure. Oh and please post if your spam filter did intercept the email. Curious to know which sites are auto blocking our emails.

I'll get my sister to check to see of shes got it,
she emailed last night saying she didnt, but i just re eimalled her,
asking her to check again.

I really do hope its shipped, and that its just a delay in teh email coming. :(

Yeah this "support group" of ours has really made the wait very exciting for me. I hope that you all get or have gotten your emails already.

I've checked my junk mail and filters.  No shipping email, just order confirmation email. 

YoYoMama, can you make sense of the shipping order?  Everyday I just get more and more frustrated.

My guess is that they are fulfilling orders that are newer so that they don't have a bigger group of angry people and that those that have been waiting the longest can wait a few more days.  I hope that's not the case, but it certainly seems like it.

That one is not a VDay one.  Thanks for the info.  I'm tired of making speculations, but my final guess is that VDay tatoos are what's holding some Zunes up.

Got my Zune!

I ordered a red 80 with the Wave tattoo with an inscription, regular packaging.  It looks like it's on a slow boat from Hong Kong right now.  It's been about 23 hours since the tracking page updated, so hopefully it will be scanned soon from somewhere in the US.  It's getting closer!

Halogene, i ordered two Zunes on the 16th, one was a tatoo, the other was a full body one...
This really does suck!

Agreed...  Just to clarify, the "one was a tatoo" was a VDay tattoo? 

Maybe we should follow Uhlisuh's example with the positive attitude.  But it's hard though!

Got my Zune!

Yeah its just that my sister is visting me, and this is like the first time ive seen her in ages.
And the red zune was meant to be a birthday present for me...but it doesn't look like thats
happening...

And the tatoo was 'the wave', and the another non vday full body one

I called Zune Originals and was told the people who ordered first would receive their orders. Supposedly some already received their orders. She said if you ordered yours mid month (15th - 17th) should receive email "soon." Soon being sometime this week or early next week. WTF?!
