I still have an issue.  There's an MP3 that I want to edit what album it's from, but it's not letting me do that.  I already have the album in existance with another song and if I change it it just reverts back to what it was previously.

Glad to see the Podcasting improvements in particular, but one that I'm still missing is support for password-protected RSS feeds!

EXAMPLE:

1)subscribe to http://www.airamerica.com/premium/podcast.php?pid=17

2)check error details

RESULT

"Series download error.  Couldn't download the podcast.  There might be a temporary network outage or a problem with the podcast.  Check that you've entered the podcast URL correctly.  Error Code:  C00D1310

 

Any idea where this lies on your roadmap?  The other guys (iTunes) support these feeds just fine, in fact that's had to be my workaround for synching these podcasts unfortunately...  I one of those weird dudes who doesn't much mind dealing with buggy software to manage his MP3 player, but please stop making me use two buggy apps for this purpose :-)

Good stuff.  But, new bug?  My podcasts no longer remove themselves from the Zune when played and then sync'd nor does the software remove them when the podcast count exceeds the 'keep' count setting...

1/23/08:  fixed.  Don't know how (maybe a reboot?) but fixed...

Thanks for the update. 
1.  Now I just need drag and drop sync back.
2.  Folder view for videos.

Does this address the duplicate track problem? I still have up to like 24 copies of the same track on my Zune.

Can anybody comment if this update fixes the problem where the Zune software overwrites or adds metadata to mp3 files even when the option to automatically update is turned off?

My music folder is currently set to read-only to make sure my metadata is not tampered with.

Ok, so I read about the new update and thought, well, I need it, so, I tried to update but couldn't. I got the  C00D1310 error. I checked online and said it had to do with music/videos. I'm not sue why it happened, could someone shed some light on this situation. that would be a load of help (my software sucks and neds some fixin' Big Smile [:D])
