@soulreaper159:

Drag and Drop is there. From the collection screen, drag the tracks/artist/album onto the image of your zune in the lower left hand corner. (your zune will need to be plugged in for this to work)

OMG!!!! I need drag and drop why would you take that away from us ;( it's so sad I can't even make a playlist properly, because all my songs are organized out of the Zune and when I'm in the Zune Software it's so messy.  What I mean by drag and drop is drag music in a folder or on your desktop and put it into your zune player or playlist.  I also have a sugestion I think that software should allow you to view and explore by folders instead of mixing all the music together like some undead monster.  I want to make this clear BRING DRAG AND DROP BACK PLEASE!!!!!! I can't fuction without it.  Or you can make the software as similar to Windows Media Player but have all the cool flying, pretty colored effects.

BRING DRAG AND DROP BACK!!!!!!

Actually, you can drag and drop to playlists.  The playlists icon is in the lower left corner next to the device and CD icon.  Drag an artist, album, or song onto that icon and choose which playlist to add them to and which playlist to make your default for drag and drop.

re: Any one who hates the new software say something about it
I need my video playlists back.  I sync by playlists, not individual videos.
(Example - I would have my YouTube Video playlist, my home movie playlist, etc.)  I would be able to remove groups of videos at a time that way and keep them orgranized, too.
I also like to see the list of the video titles I have on the Zune - not a big screen with a bunch of thumbnails.

Also, I want the classic view returned to my Zune.
The font is huge and the menu doesn't even fit completely on the screen.

Also - my videos all play at full resolution in the software.  Adjusting the window size only goes so far (try it, you can't adjust it all the way) and I shouldn't have to do that anyway.  The old software allowed me to click the video window as it played to change the resolution.

I'm glad you like it, but if you read the complaints, you'll see what the fuss is about.

It's quite possible, you just didn't use the Zune software the way many of us used it.
To some of us, the removal of certain (very popular and helpful) features is painfully obvious.

I can't stand it. Microsoft got it exactly right the first time around and then they went ahead and messed it up. Hey Microsoft, how stupid are you?! At least there should have been an option for Classic View with the new Zune.

i personally think this update is great. the software is running so much faster and i noticed the zune is running much smoother moving through the menus and songs. i do wish the update would allow you to connect to wifi anywhere and be able use the wifi to connect to the marketplace and download with outhaving to sync with your computer. and it would have also been nice to be able to store files like a external hard drive. or even saved game files on my xbox360. but maybe the next update.

Agreed.

I like the new update. I've had a few problems but for the most part I really have no big complaints.

equalizer is settings/music/equalizer.

Can't manually adjust for your own specific tastes but get to choose frm pop, electronic, hip hop, jazz, rock, etc.

re: Any one who hates the new software say something about it
I hate this update.  The old software was great.  I want the ability to manually edit my music info, WHY WOULD YOU TAKE THAT AWAY, hasn't that been a function since like the first winowds media player?  I just ripped a new CD to my library and it doesn't know the artist name, it allowed me to give it an album name but it is forever "Unknown Artist."  I want drag and drop back.  I want "Paste Album Art" back.  I want the player to be a bit more organized, I want to be able to to look through my music by artist, genre, albums, or songs seperately.  That's the serious stuff.

I'd also like a little more customization as far as layouts go, and do all the color's need to be bright pastel?  Some vizualization options and an equalizer would be nice too.

Seriously though, you really dropped the ball with this Microsoft, I loved the old software and I love the Zune, but this is software is an abomination.  You guys better do something quick, or allow us to use the old software, because until that happens I really can't use my Zune.
