Like/Dislikes: Zune team seeking feedback!

The marketplace software is so bad that i bought a Archos 404 and have not looked back. I was so looking foward to the new software. I was the only one in Boston that i know of that bought a Zune 30. and i liked it. But truthfuly the new software,it sucks. You guys spent more time at bbq's than working and it shows with the software. People are having the same problems that were there at release and you have the nerve of asking for feedback. The Zune player is a great device. The software is whats killing it. To list the problems it has would be a waste of time. Because you guys haven't fixed the problems that were already there. I don't even think Gates or Ballmer know whats going on at Zune if they did most of you guys would be fired by now. Thats the real problem. Microsoft is to big to see what some of the branches are doing. People are still having tag problems. Give me a break guys. This software needs major work and everyone seems to know this but you guys. People that were thinking of buying a zune now won't because word around the tech sites is great player bad software. You wanted feedback well here's mine, Start over and spend real time in working on it this time.

I know that most people are asking for fixes but you are probably working on them so I won't complain.  Please put the social section in the social section!  What I mean is, make this entire part of zune.net (zune cards, the forums, comments, etc.) on the actual software itself.  This would be so much better than having to come to the site just to see 1 comment.  Thanks and keep up the great work!

I would like to see a Zune Pass Premium.... it could cost more, but let you download videos as well

I personally love my zune, both the software and the hardware are fantastic. Unfortunately the fact that im not able to download TV and movies from the Zune Marketplace kinda stinks. Id also love to see Audible support for the Zune. I have hundreds of Audible audiobooks that I cant play on my Zune, and now need to lug another Mp3 player just to play those. Kinda annoying. Thats about it though. Keep up the good work!

FIX THE PROBLEM WITH ZUNE MARKETPLACE NOT WORKING WITH VISTA PARENTAL CONTROLS TURNED ON!!!

Please add "Shuffle All" to the navigation for Playlists. For example, I have a big playlist of about 200 of my favorite songs. Just like under Albums or Artists, I'd like to just select my playlist, and hit "Shuffle All."

I hardly ever use the shuffle feature, so I like to leave it turned off (I typically listen to albums). But I like to shuffle my playlists.

I'm not sure if anyone from the Zune team ever saw this (I never got any replies) but another thing I would love to see improved is the fact that the Zune software does not remember your original window size (I think this was mentioned in an earlier post in this thread also) or the monitor that you opened it on in a dual monitor environment. You can make Zune Pass much better by INCLUDING music videos as part of the Pass! 

Also, add more artists to the Zune Pass.

Memories don't live like people do.

I love my Zune but I buy all my music from Amazon for one reason.  DRM Free.   I used to use Zune Marketplace but I tried Amazon and have looked back.  I don't even use it for podcasts.  

Playlist sharing could take great advantage of the Zune pass. Maybe you could even allow dedication playlists, where I grab a playlist with catchy title from a user I trust, and it tells me the number of songs but not the names... then I sync it to my player and I discover what they added to the playlist. Kind of like an old-school mixed-tape... it was more fun when you were surprised to hear every song that was hand-picked for you! An alternate concept would be kind of a grab-bag sampler. With the Zune Pass, if the songs don't scratch my itch, I'm not out any $$ and I can remove them next time I sync.
