Zune Order Fullfillment

You are correct. I don't expect Bill Gates to come over to my office and hand deliver it.

But i have had great success in the past in having there secretaries who do receive and read all incoming emails and had issues that would other wise take much more time and Indian calling centers to deal with take allot less and have even having a regional manager and higher ups take over my cases.

So yes, i do think that emailing them does make a difference in the long run, because they are going to forward that email to a executive in the Zune devision who will then personally hand it over to someone to deal with right away because it DID comes from the CORPORATE office.

Woohoo!  Mine shipped, too!  Same estimated delivery date as yours.  I hope I don't wear out the FedEx tracking site over the next week. :)

Did you guys order on teh 15th or 16th?

I really needed my Zune by the 8th, but it doesnt look like thats happening!

I read somewhere... hereish... That someone ordered a Zune (Not an original, but I don't that it matters in this case) and after they got their confirmation email, it was there within four days.

So you ought to get it by the 8th. Just please don't hunt me down if I'm wrong.

For reference, I ordered mine like the 28th and I got my confirmation today as well. So, I don't think when you ordered it matters.

I ordered mine on January 17th. It was shipped FedEx International Priority Direct Distribution.  The shipping confirmation shows an estimated delivery of February 11th, but according to the this page on the FedEx website, the delivery commitment is 2-4 days, so that jives with what Uhlisuh says.  I've also read where people have said they've received them in two days.  If everything goes according to the Fedex plan, my delivery should be Friday at the latest.  Hopefully that pallet of Zunes won't get held up in customs!

 

Did you get a shipping confirmation, DruJC?  If not, hopefully later today or tomorrow.  You could definitely still have it in time.

It's the 4th of Feb. today, I order my on the 15th of Jan. (in the morning) and still no shipping confirmation.

All i have is the 'we need another 10 days, sorry' from Microsoft.

seems like things are being handled on a random basis given pulsetn's 1/17 order and ship.  (congratulations pulsetn)

just to add to the data:

ordered 1/17 -> order confirmation email 1/18 -> delay email never gotten -> no shipping email -> no zune

good luck everybody.  i heard from the gotzune board that they will be shipping orders made before 1/22 in their first wave and that they will be including the A/V package.  not sure how true that is but it's out there  (too bad I already bought that!)

huzzah for shipping notice!!!!! well I ordered mine ON the 22nd so I'm glad I got in that first wave group.

 

mine says that feb 11 it should be here but I pray that it is sooner. Me and my gf have been waiting for our zunes very patiently -=her more than me since I've been hounding the forums like crazy=-.

so I ordered mine the 22nd--> confirmation same day---> no delay e-mail----> shipping e-mail this morning feb 4th

 

I'm sorry those who don't have theirs yet and I hope to hear some good news soon from everyone.
