I have a Zune 120 that I can't get to sync with my computer. I have tried erasing all content several times but it is still telling me my device is full. None of these options do anything on my zune. All I can do is re-boot the thing. Any ideas?

I have tried everything to get my 30gb to turn back on all it dose all the time is show the charging sign anyone know what to do other then buy a new one i don't know what to do anymore i called in and paid 179.99 for a 120gb and i was told it would be here soon a week later on and i still have nothing should i just go to apple and get something that works or wait or do one of you know how to make the 30gb turn back on? need help please write back.... my zune is locked up and the backlight is on, and ive tried everything command and no luck. any way to fix it?

Yeah, I know what your saying?! This sucks! I've tried for so long to snyc new music on to my Zune, I don't know what I'm doing wrong?

I have read all of the help advice and followed  the directions, it just still doesn't seem to work. Very frustrated.! They make it seem so damn easy!

OK, I've got a 30 gig Zune - refurb'd and arrived in mail yesterday.  My computer has never recognized the zune; I've rebooted, reformatted, etc. at least 20 times - I've followed all the directions but still no luck in getting computer to recognize the zune.
1)  Have reformatted Zune so there is nothing on it.
2)  Zune version is still 2.5 although 3.1 is on my computer
3)  Gone into Device Manager - Zune has yellow ! next to it, but software version is correct at 3.1.603.0
4)  Have SP3 and latest version of Media Play (11) on computer
5)  No conflicts in USB hub controller (plugged into back USB ports at all time, not through a hub).
6)  Have downloaded and tried Media Collection Reset Tool, Media Devices, etc. per website with no luck.
7)  Followed all steps here - Zune did reboot, did reformat, etc. so Zune now has nothing on it, but still won't sync.
8)  I have no other cable to try... so can't do that.
9)  Should this be returned ??

o.o help me.

I've had my 8gb [yeah lame] for about a year now and this is the first time I'm having this problem. My Zune doesn't connect to my computer for some odd reason. At one point it was completely dead and I hooked it up to my computer and it managed to get a very small charge, but now it won't sync. I've cleard the content, updated the software and intialized the disk. Now its telling me to connect to my pc even though it already is and has been for about an hour. I'm not sure what to do at this point and I would forever be greatful if someone could help me. Thanks.

I have a new zune 120.  I listened to the radio for a few minutes then it froze.  I rebooted and got the 5 screen..."Contact Support"  This happened every time I rebooted.  So I then did the reboot and then the Initialize Disk steps (Press and hold Back + OK + Play/Pause) and it now says "Please Wait" and has said that for the last 25 minutes.  I cannot reboot or do anything else now.  Should this be taking this long.  It seems the buttons are disabled now.  The unlock/lock button is in the unlocked position, but I cannot do anything with the device.  I had the device plugged into my PC, but now I currently have it plugged into the wall just in case this does take a long time so the battery does not die during this process.  Any ideas.  This is for my daughters birthday and I hope I do not have to send it in to MS for repairs after I just opened it.

my touch pad will not allow me to do anything, only buttons that are working are the back and play button. Any suggestions?

im guessing im wasting my time trying to follow these steps on my zune being that i have the old version [the ones that first came out]
because wen i press Back + OK + Play/Pause, it does absolutely nothing.!
