Im having some trouble, my 4gb zune isnt responding, I can hold play to turn it off and on but the back button and pad aren't working. Also it will not reboot or anything like that

 I'm having problems with turning on my zune 80gb. the battery is 100% fine. the problem is that when i turn on my zune it simply gets stuck and the start up logo with ZUNE under it the small bar that show its loading dosent move. i can't restart or reboot or reformat the zune device.

Hello, is this troubleshooting technique still working now? I am having serious firmware problems..only to be told by Microsoft that I need to send them $ to fix my Zune because my warranty ran out, which I find totally unacceptable because I haven't abused my Zune this is an internal software problem! Can you help please?

my zune 4 won't come on i've tryed everything but before i could tap it while it was playing and it would turn off so do you guys think it is a loose conection on the inside or software problems

If you are having firmware problems, you should be able to resolve that yourself (as in not having to pay for a repair...) using the OP in this thread...what have you tried so far?

I am having alot of trouble with my 8gb zune it is only 6 months old and when i go to turn it on it will play for about 10 minutes and then it freezes up and i could usally restart it but now its not responding at all it just says low battery and ok and nothing works i have tried rebooting and reformating the only thing that seems to respond is when i hold the play button to put it into standby can someone please help me i dont know what to do

Zune 80GB...when I try to just do a reboot (it sometimes freezes in the Alltec dock when playing) after removing the player from the dock, it instead clears the content.  Am I not holding the Back and Up long enough, too long?  It worked properly one time but since then I've had to reboot 2x and each time it cleared the content so I'm sure it's me! Thanks for the assist.

my wife's zune 30 gig is just blinking the zune logo when you push play button. and won't stay on long enough to reboot it. has anyone had this problem? and how do I fix it? keep in mind that there is no way now to completly drain the battery because it only flashes for a fraction a second.

i restored my 30 gig zune but now i can't get to redownload any firmware.  I went to the web help and tried everything it said to do and it still gives me and error message of C00D11CD.  Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it.
