well well, what do you know, I think wireless was on this whole time and I didn't even know.

It looks like my Zune won't be restarting anytime soon, but it's still too early to tell..

I'll post later when I'm about 90% sure this is a quick fix.

I'm not here to make friends, just changes for the better. If I make friends along the way, it's a plus.

i dont think thats it bro cause mines always off and it still crashes.

nope, it worked for about 30 minutes then shut down again...

ok heres my imput on this problem :

 

 

I have the Same exact issue but the only difference is when i use the headphones that came with the zune i don't believe its ever happened, (but i dont use headphones for more then 30 minutes or so), i have a quality 3.5mm jack (actually i tested 3) and when i hook up the jack to the headphone out to the input on my car OR my dewalt radio, it lasts about 5 minutes and restarts constantly unless i play w. the menu screen at the same time its extremetly annoying because i got the zune for work and now i cant even use is Microsoft HELPPP lol

Man, it sucks you guys are still having this problem. The other topics state that it's the headphone jack, but you guys said that didn't work.

I just had a similar problem today, but it was when I had it plugged into an FM transmitter in my car through the bottom port. In my case though the device just continuously cycled. Finally I was able to break the cycle by quickly playing with the menu before it cycled again then seemed to be fine. I will keep my eyes out for the same symtom of cycling during playing music. Microsoft has a real dog here.
