My Zune 80 ended up being called Zenia.  First name I could think up beginning with a Z, I guess. I've though about "Melody", "Harmony", and "Musique". In reality I simply refer to it as "the Zune".  Not much for naming inanimate items.

I have a 30 gig orig BLACK Zune, and originally his name was Snuffles, because i thought it would be hilarious if there was a little dude inside my zune with a miniture jutebox puttin in cds, and he had a cold. I liked the name so much, i started usin it as my profile. hehe  =)
Now her (yes her cause if i change it to a girls name, it becomes a her, lol) name is Rukia.

My wife has the 30GB black called, "Shelly". I am gonna get one soon an 80GB and I want it to be brown (if there's one in that color) as well and call it "Chocolate Sunrise"
