Mac compatability please

I really hope they have been reading the forums and have been working on an OS X native version of the upcoming Zune 4.0 Software. The Zune logo would look great in my dock.

Zune on my mac would be amazing. 

I have had a boycott on Apple products for years now....but, since I am a teacher, the school gives me a Mac to work with, and the option to bring my home computer to work is a non-negotiable one.  I REALLY want to be able to listen to music while my students are not in the room (or even when they are, soft classical music works WONDERS for quiet work time!), but right now, the tech guy said my only option is iTunes.  No thank you!  Make this happen for my sanity's sake!

I'm a recent convert from the iPod camp to the Zune camp. The software is smooth and I haven't experienced a crash with it! I'm looking to buy a Macbook for college. I know I could get a Windows laptop, but I've used a few Macbooks and the experience was unforgettable. I'll stop there so I don't go into my Windows/OS X "love affair".

When the day comes for me to use OS X, I don't want to switch back over to an iPod because there is not Zune software compatibility. I could dual boot or run it in VM ware, but I'd rather stick to one OS on a laptop. If Microsoft opens up Zune compatibility, they're going to expand the brand. The Zune HD has attracted a lot of people (myself included), but I know most of my Mac friends are put off on buying one because of compatibility. To the Zune team, please add Mac support for the Zune. It will do wonders in the long run.

I just bought a Mac because I was tired of dealing with viruses downloaded from the internet and I have a Zune because I LOVE it.  It's so much better than the iPod for more reasons I want to take the time to mention.  I was SO disappointed to find that I cannot sync with my new computer.  Microsoft is missing a huge market opportunity here- until the iPod no longer sucks.  They should take advantage while they can!  I was hoping to get a Zune HD, but that cannot happen now.  I can wait for a couple of months, but I'm afraid that I'll end up with an inferior Apple product, just because of some MS platform grudge!

I'm a mac user and i have to jump through hoops to use my zune which i absolutely love. I tell everyone that will listen that the zune is a superior music device than the ipod, but the lack of mac support is a dealbreaker for many. Please please please open it up to macs! (And while you're at it, linux support would be swell too)

I was so happy to find a community of people who feel the same as I do. I have a Mac for work and a MacBook Pro at home. I have always hated iTunes and thought that Zune was so much more advanced. My Zune has gotten a little dusty since I bought my MacBook Pro, and I've been dying to have the compatibility. MS, please hear our cry. We need Zune support for the Mac. 

i don't own a mac, but since this is a wishlist forum, i am hoping to expand the social. many people i know do own a mac, and noone i know owns a zune. some of these who own macs have vowed to get a zuneHD, should mac software be released. If microsoft were to add mac support, that measly 1.1% of the market would increase. i don't know whether or not the issue has anything to do with ipod, but get over any grudges microsoft, it wouldn't be the first microsoftware written for mac!

I want to put my name on the list of those who want Mac compatibility.  I would rather own a Zune than an iPod assuming all features equal.  I own a Macbook Pro and a PC running Vista.  I'd like to be able to sync music with both machines, especially since my PC is more a PVR and media server and my Mac is essentially my netbook.  I understand how Microsoft may not want to write programs for the Mac OS, but I guarantee there are people out there that don't want all things Apple just because they have a Mac.  There is an untapped market awaiting you, Microsoft!

I don't understand why they would just not support a platform that is pretty freaking popular these days which would do nothing but help them. So, please Microsoft, give the Mac users Zune support!

PLEASE DO SOMETHING SO WE CAN HAVE ZUNE ON MAC!

I made an account just so I could speak out here. I have a PC but am currently living in a dorm in my university and am therefore a Mac user (Macbook Pro, great for college). I currently have an old ipod, but I am looking to buy a new mp3 player and the new Zune HD seems amazing. I would even pre order it, that is if it worked with the Mac OS. I don't want to buy another ipod, I think the touch is really ugly and I can see that the new Zune is clearly superior. Please someone email this thread to the Microsoft Zune department or create a petition, I guarantee you thousands would sign it.
