re: We're listening!
The zunes need an option to turn on a beep sound or some other sound notification when somebody trys to connect to your zune.  This is because if you have your zune in your pocket and somebody trys to send you some music, you never know he is sending you anything.  I have already ran into this problem.  We can't take advantage of the social when nobody know people are trying to give them stuff!

Oh, and how about making the software work in a less dumbed-down way.  Like the fact that changing metadata rarely carries over to the collection unless you remove the song/video and let the software re-add it.  We need to be able to manually force the software to rescan the media folders, and it should be more aware of the ID3 tags and tags in videos themselves, because it seems like all of the metadata is cached so it gets messed up easily.

re: We're listening!
I have a lot of Japanese Music on my Zune but am disappointed that the software does not show the names of the songs on the device.  All that shows up are squares.  Please make it possible to read the Japanese Characters on the Zune.  On the ipods you can read the Japanese but not on the Zune. Why?

How about a better compatibility with Windows Media Player 11?

Playlists that I created on WMP seem to be incompatible with ZUNE software and thus the device itself.

Maybe to better promote ZUNE, Microsoft should MERGE WMP and ZUNE softwares into one concise and definitive software product. That would simplify the marketplace and encourage more WINDOWS USERS to buy a ZUNE for themselves!

Or get rid of the Zune software altogether.

re: We're listening!

Here are a couple few things.

I am left handed and would like to watch the videos with the controls on the left side.

Also when are we getting movies to download?

Lastly why can't I pay for my subscription which I do.  Then sync the songs I download to my device.  Then delete them from my hard drive.  (My PC has less space than my Zune.)  Then not have them be deleted automatically next time I plug in my Zune.

I have two Zunes and one is for me.  I have all the cool stuff I like on it.  The other is for my roommate and he likes things like Frank Sinatra.  I had already put all that stuff on his Zune and I needed to free up space on my PC so I deleted the folder that said Frank Sinatra.  As soon as I plugged in his Zune it deleted all that music.  Why?

And there's nothing wrong with me This is how I'm supposed to be In a land of make believe That don't believe in me
