Mike just admit it, you made it up, there was no source for it, and it's not growing speculation, but merely a thought you had.

I searched Google on and off for quite a while and didn't find anything that matched your claims.

BTW have you noticed in this thread it is now new people who also say you are the problem here, and not the same old crowd.

If more and more new people keep telling you that you're the issue perhaps you actually are the issue...just some food for thought.

I'm not a problem, you're just wanting to start a fight, not sure what sort of agenda you have and it is getting to be rather ridiculous.  I'm glad so many of you actually think this new ZuneHD is going to be on par price wise with the iPod Touch...it isn't there is far to much there to just practically give it away.  Norrath do yourself a favor and follow the footsteps of the many before you, just start another "ban st0icr4ven" thread, I on the other hand would prefer it if you stopped harassing me.

I'd say that for it to be growing speculation, you must have seen a rumor somewhere. nothing wrong with trying to find out where. I really hope the zune HD is priced close to the touch, or else it loses a bit of it's competetive edge.

I do have a problem with giving unnessecary unhelpful ratings. Stoic has said nothing unhelpful, just voiced some thoughts, whether they're his or someone else's

the iPod Touch and ZuneHD have what in common..........a touch interface and a couple other features, net etc.  The iPod Touch doesn't do HD anything and that is really going to be what determines the price imo and will set it higher then current Zune HDD models.

My 'agenda' is simple.  You created a thread where you made it sound like there was 'growing speculation' about a price point when no one is speculating about it but you.

Myself and others have asked you to show even ONE other site posting such speculation and you haven't been able to provide it at all.  The reason being that you lied, or you're delusional and actually believe your own postings to be true regardless of basis in reality.

There's only two options there.

Either you're being misleading (lying) or you're not quite right in the head.

I think it's most likely the first option and you just don't know how to respond when called on it.



As for me I'd prefer you start dealing with reality, but hey we can't all get what we want.

How is it not unhelpful to post a thread making it sound like this is news all over the web?  Remember he said it's 'growing speculation'.

A single person with no source acting like this is all over the place is not helpful since it can create rumors based off lies.

His attempts to insult and deflect when asked for a source for the 'growing speculation' are also not helpful.


In general Mike is not a helpful person and insults users on a regular basis :(


He's already been warned to the point of having been issued a temporary ban for his behavior.

You would be wrong again, especially on your last point.  You need to stop thinking that you are somehow above anyone or everyone here it is getting tiresome and your attacks no matter how subtle you try to make them are indeed obvious to those of us smart enough to recognize them.  Norrath you're starting to sound like an internet stalker or maybe a child who simply doesn't get their way as you have failed at every attempt to bully me into what you consider the ideal poster to be.  Keep trying, you'll get nowhere. There's this discussion which mentions an "estimated" again which is speculation from somewhere and no source is required nor should it ever be and the price points mentioned are $299 and $399 (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Microsoft-Zune/9475586449?v=feed&story_fbid=96298735734).  Go ahead and attack them I'm sure you'll somehow find they deserve it.  There is also this one where someone actually mentions a $400 to $500 price point which is exactly what I mention and this one isn't even approached at as speculation or rumor the poster uses it as fact (which is baseless) http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Microsoft-Zune/9475586449?v=feed&story_fbid=96460053009.  You best go and attack that guy as well and tell him how he is spreading malicous lies and ruining the interweb for everyone!  Be quick before the opportunity vanishes!

Indeed, especially considering the same source who provided the initial information leaks (which all proved correct) about the Zune HD has said that pricing will start at $249 -$280 for the 16GB model.

This is from an article on Neowin that is sourced from a Software Engineer at Microsoft.
