Thank you. The support site does not have any information as yet - we'll keep checking. I believe our issue is same as everyone else's - frozen Zune 30 with the Zune logo. If we leave it like that, the battery eventually discharges and then once your recharge the battery, it is back to teh same state. The controls are not working either, so we cannot reset.

Quick help on this will be really appreciated.

i have over 50gig {no lie...ima music junkie} of music that i cant even fit on my 30gig so why get somthing smaller????

Man, I just bought another Zune 8gb for my daughter, and I woke up and all the sudden like everyone esle, my Zune is stuck. I'm very concern since my Zune is no longer under warranty, since I've had it for so long and the fact I just bought a new one. I hope Zune takes care of us properly since of course we still our customers. I've bought the dock, the jacks to use the video on my t.v. and have spent alot of money on this product. I really hoped we aren't stuck with the boot in our a**, and I really hope all the talk about us buying new ones isn't true, cause I own a business, and word-of-mouth, is No.1 way advertising is at best. I have been telling folks great things about Zunes, please dont let me down.

What I'm concerned about is whether there will ever be a software fix for this.problem. If the booting is stuck at the start screen, would any software ever be able to access the firmware of the Zune to make it work again? I bought my Zune 30 refurbished on Woot! and the warranty period was 60 days or something.

I wonder if this is going to involve a recall.

The worst part of this is all my friends who are using iPoo and rubbing my nose in another MS failure. It's really tough to keep defending this.

I have two Zune 30s both froze simultaneously at about 1 this morning. I would need something more than a 16 since i'm using 20 some gigs on both.

So, what are we suppose to do until it's fixed? Just let it sit on the start up screen and hope that when thee's a fix that it will take a charge? or hasn't burned that image into the screen?

I'm really frustrated with this Zune... I've had it a year and until about August - I LOVED IT! But, then the market place won't sign in on any computer (can't download or purchase) and now this... I'm really frustrated with a product that I LOVED!

I love my Zune but if they don't take care of this problem in a satisfactory way I'll buy an iPod...I'll do it, I'm not messin' around
