re: Help-frozen zune!!!!
The battery on mine just ran out as well.  I started to charge it and the plug sign came on.  I thought better of charging it and unplugged it until some information became available, just to be sure.  Something strange is going on.

re: Help-frozen zune!!!!
Hello, it 5:50 am as I write this, I woke up around twenty minutes ago, to silence, and discovered my 30gb zune stuck in the restart screen.  This left me oh so angry and irritable, because I can't really sleep without music going... Burning one playlist to disc right now... but I was up close to midnight last night... I am not in a good mood.  Lack of sleep = Angry Dragoness.  A very uncoherent one, but still dangerous.  Something's rotten if this is happening all of a sudden to the 30gb zunes,  What'll irk me further is I've had mine scince it first came out...  ...*  I have the urge to naw on my zune or a microsoft tech's head, I wonder which would get me help faster.  (Sorry if this is confuseing, not awake yet)

re: Help-frozen zune!!!!

Woke up this morning to find that mine was frozen on the load screen also, it has to be a software problem for them to be going off like bombs. Seems strange that they are all dying after midnight the last day of 2008. They better be doin something to make this right, or can you say class action.

No kidding. This is outrageous. And mine did it too, 12/31/08. Yea, it's obvious that it's not just a coincidence.

I was going to let my battery go dead in hopes it would reset but decided to return it to its cradle instead and leave it hopefully charged. If I need to take a screwdriver to it (as described in this "fix": http://forums.zune.net/404026/ShowPost.aspx ) I will want the battery charged when and if I get it back together.

Why do us 30 gig original owners always get the bull? That's so irritating.

What on earth? Thank goodness I'm not the only one. My 30g original Zune just froze up on the black Zune loading screen. It won't respond to anything. ZUNE STAFF! HELP US!!

Transformers; My Anti-Drug

Because when you collect Transformers, how can you possibly afford drugs?

I let the battery go dead and that didn't help. So don't bother. This is just odd that all these Zunes would have the same problem on the same day.

That link doesn't help. Even if I could restart the Zune it freezes when it boots up.
