PETITION: Add WMP Support!

When I bought my Zune 30 last year and starting using the Zune software, I stopped to use WMP at all. But since the new software upgrade, I can't even sync my music to my zune and even worse to OPEN the sotware beacause of several runtime errors which I cant fix yet.. So I went back to WMP and realized of the BETTER yet simple software this is to use. Zune Software is eye-candy but it lacks stability. Why just no create a plugin for Zune? I have a friend who syncs his iPod nano into WMP. Why?? An apple product and why not Zune?? Isn't Zune a Microsoft product after all?

If anything, the new software has proven just how good the old software was.  Sure it was "simply" WMP11 with a different skin and ZMP plug-in, but it was totally capable of being a one-stop-shop tool.  Manage your library, work with your player, and interract with the marketplace.  I was a big fan of WMP10 and avoided WMP11 on all of my systems.  But after using the old Zune software, I actually grew to appreciate the differences.

After messing around with the new software and firmware, I'm glad to be back to the old code.

To all those wanting WMP11 support.......i bet you wish you would've bought a PFS device.  The old software was WMP11 and for people who constantly try to say "oh but it was so good blah blah" it wasn't even unique and it didn't even set the device apart from the other PFS devices on the market.

No.  It only works for the old firmware.

I'm not sure if this will work with zune 80 but I believe this works with zune 30 (new firmware)  let me know if it does with zune 80.

Have you tried it with the Zune 30 and new firmware?!  I did... IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!

WMP support shouldn't require a battle. It only makes sense.

How does it make sense?  If you give Zune WMP Support the Zune suddenly AGAIN gets lost in the PFS library of devices.  MS wants to be able to SEPERATE the Zune from the PFS library of devices.  It's easy to understand and yet most of you guys seem to be missing the point entirely.  WMP is synomous with PFS and the Zuen is NOT a PFS device.  MS already has a device that is WMP based and part of the PFS library of devices they call it the i-river.  If that is what you want and what you are looking for then look into it but ffs quit trying go lump the zune into a library of media devices that for the most part FAIL to do any sort of damage to the Apple market stranglehold.
