Halogene, you're right, it shouldn't bother me, people complaining; you've every right to do whatever. It just all seems to negative.

That aside, I really think everyone ought to get their Zune's by VDay, right? To those who have already been waiting, what's a few more days? Why not head over to pandora.com and listen to some new music to think about adding to your collection once you get your Zune?

Uhlisuh tries in vain to do something good to get everyone's minds off of the lack of a Zune. She fails miserably in comparison to Pulsetn's song. She emos emoly for a bit.

Hey all. I have an update for you.

Red 80GB devices will start shipping out to folks early next week <insert applause here>

I can't get into the details of the "delay", nor can I give you an update on exactly when your specific order will ship, but it comes down to this: the Zune Design team takes product quality very seriously. We couldn't in good faith release the product when we hoped, so the difficult decision to hold shipments of the product was made.

I know there are many of you who have been waiting anxiously for your Zune Original device, wondering when it would arrive. We definitely could have done a better job with giving you a better sense of order status and we're actively looking for ways to improve the transparency into the ordering process. I do think when you get your device, you will be very happy with your purchase. We understand that the Zune Originals customer is special, and we thank you for your support.

Thanks for the update, YoYoMama. I really appreciate you posting some news, and it's great to hear that orders will be shipping soon. I'm crossing my fingers that next week goes according to plan next week. Good luck to you and the rest of the Zune Originals team. I'm sure we all wish you success in getting through V-Day. :)

Thank you YoYoMama. I'm glad to hear things will be back on track soon. Just make sure that they know that Black Zune 80s with the VDay tattoos were also delayed! Thank you for acknowledging the problem! Looking forward to next week.
